Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 16, 2026

Accessibility work is ongoing. Find a Hoop is not yet fully accessible and has not been certified as fully conforming to an accessibility standard. We are actively working on it, and we intend to continue improving the experience over time.

Our commitment

Find a Hoop wants people with disabilities to be able to discover basketball opportunities and use the directory. We are working to identify, prevent, and remove barriers in the website, forms, search tools, listing pages, advertising, and map experience. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, currently WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as a reference for this continuing work. This is a goal and reference point, not a claim that every page or feature currently conforms.

Work in progress

Our continuing accessibility efforts include:

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We expect standards, content, technology, and user needs to evolve, and we plan to continue reviewing and improving the Service.

Known limitations

Some parts of the Service may not yet work well for every user or assistive technology. Current or potential limitations include the interactive map, dynamic search and filtering controls, complex listing cards, third-party map tiles, advertising or sponsored content that may be added, linked third-party content, and older pages that are still being reviewed. Third-party sites and advertising services linked from Find a Hoop are controlled by their owners, and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.

We are working to assess these areas and address barriers based on impact, feasibility, available resources, and user feedback. We cannot promise that every issue will be fixed immediately or by a particular date, but our work will continue.

Alternative access and feedback

If a barrier prevents you from accessing information or completing a task, tell us what you need. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in an alternative format or help identify another way to use the Service.

We welcome accessibility feedback and will use it to help prioritize future improvements. Response and remediation times can vary based on the issue and available resources.
